"As the name implies, this guy is definitely a pro. Emily and I had interviews lined up with three different DJs. Rich was the first. After meeting with him, we cancelled our other appointments and hired him because we knew right away that he was the guy. He’s very personable and professional. He agreed to meet us at a Target on a day when we had to get our gift registry done so I wasn’t expecting anything too formal, but he was there right on time with a nice shirt and tie and all the literature we needed to look over. He has streamlined his process for dealing with clients. His website is set up with online payment and music planning utilities. All you need to do is go to his website and select the designated songs (processional, recessional, first dance, last dance, father-daughter dance, etc…). You can also select (from his extensive catalog) that you either definitely want certain songs played or not played so you don’t end up doing the chicken dance or the hokey pokey (unless that is your thing). On the off chance that he doesn’t have a song that you want, he has an upload utility on the website as well. The best thing about Rich is that he does this for a living. It’s not a hobby or extra money. He does fifty weddings a year and he knows how to keep the party going. Just let him run the show and you won’t have to worry about a thing. Everyone will have a good time. In most weddings there are lulls and dead spots in the reception where the guests have to decide if they are going to sneak out now or stick it out, but not at my wedding. People were dancing from the moment they finished eating until it was over. Rich knows just what music to play and when to play it. It was a great time."
